Some Would Say Cessation
Sublime images appear, racing along a searing white tunnel A cannonball shot through stark nothingness At the end, a gate stands tall – an entryway with no walls Surreality painted in black or white

A bit of info on this poem: Its my first attempt at writing an imagist poem, i based it off of two Ezra Pound poems.
It has deeper meanings to it than meets the eye. Please, discuss it i'd like to hear feedback

Death? The white tunnel, like.. when you die? Sublime images are what you are supposed to see, your life flashing before you? You're the cannonball into nothingness when you die? The gate, is the the gate to heaven(forum) XD
I don't get the last line

people seem to have problems with the second line and the last line try thinking of the poem as more than what you're seeing it as
i like your interpretation of the cannonball though when i think of it like that it adds more emphasis to the third meaning of the poem (i think it has three, each deeper than the last) yay for discovering more about your own poem lol

Black and white... So, complex things are made simple by the ideas of Life and Death!
White = Life Black = Death
Nothingness = Black/Death?
Cannonball.. You are shot into black nothingness of death?
